Riverside Sloper Problem

Today Byron crushed the riverside sloper problem (V6/7) first go. It was pretty warm there today but we moved around to stay in the shade and still got some rock scaling in. The picture of Byron climbing does not do this boulder justice but I snapped a nice portrait while setting up.

Just about the name...I know Austin is a beast and all, but Nick and I cleaned that and he did the F(known by us)A of that in 2002 (I still have the dated pictures from my first digital camera).

Sorry, wasn't completely clear...Nick did it the day we cleaned it. And no problem on the info, Newlin is a very special place to me so I really enjoy all your posts and pictures relating to it!

did nick give it a name?

Not at the time. We just referred to problems by descriptive names then...I think we called it something along the lines of "the cool heel hook/sloper problem by the trail" (while also mimicking the movements) or something like that.
