Branson's Arete

After watching the MVM short of Branson's Arete, I knew I wanted to check out this cool looking line.  It turned out to be perfectly my style of tricky heal hooks and awesome compression moves and I was able to quickly send.  There are a few photos below. Stay tuned for many more updates to come from our trip in the next few days.

there is line that moves right from the same starting jugs and shivers and branson's arete (i remember both lines being spelled branson not bronson in the utah bouldering guide but i could be wrong) that is simples called branson. this is a grade harder than the arete and not nearly as cool as either of the other two, with the business being done at head height jugs after just two hard moves.

It is Bronson, not Branson. Jim Belcer put this route up in 1996 or 1997 with Ian Glass, Dean Potter and I believe Will Nazarian. Jim sent it and his friends asked what is the name, he didn't reply, so the guys said Bronson after Jim's girlfriend at the time.
